- There has been many changes over time in species of frogs. Maybe back then, the frogs couldn´t freeze. With genetic code, the frog was able to get the traits and skills needed to help him survive in the ice.
- Cells
- The frog shown in the video was a fully grown adult. It started off as an egg. Then it became a tadpole that grew into an mature adult frog . That frog is able to survive on its own.
- Metabolism
- The frog knew winter was coming, so he began preparing for it. The frog went into a small space so he could try to stay warm or atleast not too cold.
- Reproduction
- When the frog starts freezing, the ice sucks the water out of the frogs cells. Then they use their urine for their cells.
- When the frog finishes defrosting, one of the first things it does is going out and looking for some food to eat. It had not eaten in 8 months.
- After the frog finishes defrosting, the first thing it does is look for some food and look for a mate.
