- We are on a caraven with 16 crewmembers. You will be part of the crew and you will sweep the deck and help out. Our cargo is potatoes tobacco and chilies and we expect to get gold cotton sugar and pepper etc. The ocean could be unpredictable. The voyage will take at least a year and a half, enough for everyone on the boat to be rich!
- Before I go on this ship I need to know some things. What boat are we on, how many crew members are there, what will my role be as a crewmember, the other jobs on board,cargo and/or valuables that our boat will take,cargo and valuables that we expect to return with, hazards that we might face, what we would expect to see, how long we will be gone? and how much money we expect to make?

I will bring food, my bible, a small knife.
