My teacher asked us to do a presentation about storage devices but I haven't done anything yet!

There are some types of storage devices. They are HDD and SSDs, optical storage devices like CD Disc, floppy disks and RAM.

RAM is the primary storage device of a computer. HDD is Hard Disk Drive and it is a magnetic storage device. SSD is Solid State Drive and like the name it is completely solid-state.

Both HDD and SSD can be external or internal but SSD is stronger than HDD and can store more.

They are used for transferring data from computer to computer but nowadays we don't usually use it anymore because it can only hold small amount of data.

Oh yeah, my aunt told me about it before. Since she worked at the office, she had to use those all the time. But what can we use instead of floppy disks?

Well, we can use USB drives like memory sticks and we can also use optical discs like the one we used to watch TV with.
