This is Drip, his mother, and his little brother, Drop. They've always stayed together in the water cycle, but that's all about to change. Drip is lost by his distracted mother from Drop's complaining, and is sucked up into a plant! This sometimes happens to groundwater in real life!
I just got sucked away from my family, and now I'm here!
Wha- What just happened?!
I can't believe I lost my family! I have to find them.
Now, a new droplet of water, Bead, gets sucked up by the plant and is in the same situation as Drip. Now, they're going to find their way back together! They then move up to the clouds through transpiration, which is when water leaves the plant with the oxygen that the plant gives off, and go to the clouds.
Drip is inside the plant and is used for energy in the plant's cells and stays in there, thinking that his family might come find him.
That happened to me too! Let's get out of here TOGETHER!
Wow! I've never been in the clouds before! I can't wait to rain down, it's going to be an amazing view!
Oh buddy! It's a wild ride!
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Drip and Bead rain down to the ground via precipitation. Precipitation is when water condenses and falls down to the ground as either rain, snow, sleet, or hail Later, it warms back up and they evaporate up to the clouds once again.
Drip and Bead are in the sky because of evaporation, and were cooled down by the insanely low temperatures of the atmosphere. When water cools down, it condenses, or changes to its water form. This is also why there are water drops on the side of a cold glass.
