- the picture above shows how the slaves were transported and how overwhelmed they were because they had never seen such a big ship and the ocean The whole reason they are there was because they were kidnapped from their village
- The Slaves were kept below the deck chained up without blankets just their clothes and they did not use the restroom so they had to smell like feces, pee, diseases, B.O, needless to say it was terrible
- The slaves after they arrived were forced to pick cotton do chores and do work all around the farm if they did not comply they would get beat and if they tried to escape they would get there toes chopped off and whiped
