- Newton's First Law of Motion- The Law of Inertia: An object at rest remains at rest and an object in motion remains in motion at a constant speed and in a straight line unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.Explanation: According to the law of inertia, The orange will remain at rest until some force moved it, the orange would continue moving forever after it was moved, but friction acts as the force which eventually stops the ball from rolling.
- Newton's Second Law of Motion- The Law of Force: The acceleration of an object depends on the mass of the object and the amount of force applied.Explanation: When the same force is applied to two objects, the one with less mass will move faster. Thus, the tennis ball would go faster than the Orange.
