Storyboard Text

  • Million years ago, the earth was covered with swamps filled with organisms and plants.
  • The muck that accumulated on the bottom of wetlands as organisms and plants perished and decayed was buried under layers of mud over millions of years as the swamps filled with water.
  • The dead plants and animals were transformed into fossil fuel by heat and pressure. Time, temperature, pressure, and matter all have a role in determining the sort of fossil fuel that is created.
  • Coal is one of the most frequent types of fossil fuels available today. In the course of millions of years, the breakdown of land plants has resulted in the formation of coal, a solid fossil fuel that may be burned.
  • Coal was produced by pressing ferns, plants, and trees together until they solidified as a result of the pressure and heat.
  • COAL
  • Now, fossil fuels are used virtually every day in our life, for example, to generate electricity and to power our transportation. In our capacity as humans, it is our job to create new ways to energize dialogue in order to conserve these resources for future generations.
