  • Uncle Tom's Cabin is based on life of Josiah Henson, who was a previously inslaved man and her own observations. It mainly showed thee effects of slavery and especially on the families and children. Uncle Tom's Cabin was also showcases in the National Era newspaper. The year after Uncle Tom's Cabin was showceaed it was publishes as a full book
  • Stowe went to washington DC when she was there she met up with lincon and from a popular story he said, "So you are the little woman who wrote the book that started this great war. Stowe went to DC after the civil war began.
  • Stowe contuisen to write books like "Oldtown Folks" and "Dred". None of them managed to reach the popularity of "Uncle Toms's Cabin". She was and continued to stay well known and respectied. She was often asked to weigh in on politiavl issues of the day.
