- Pearl discovered a unicorn in the forest and wanted to find out what unicorns liked to eat.
- We can find out the answer by using something called, The Scientific Method.
- Can you please explain?
- Sounds fancy.
- "What do unicorns like to eat?"
- Sure!Step 1: Ask a Question
- "Maybe unicorns like to eat flowers."
- Step 2: Make a Guess
- Pearl gathered different types of flowers and offered them to the unicorn to eat.
- Step 3: Conduct an Experiment
- The unicorn didn't seem to like the flowers very much.

- What do unicorns like to eat?
- My guess- flowers
- The unicorn did not like the flowers. It thought they were SUS.
- Conduct a Second Experiment
- If I were a unicorn, what would sound good to eat?
- "Maybe unicorns like to eat fruits instead of flowers."
- "I'm hungry."
- Pearl gathered a ton of apples and offered them to the unicorn to eat.
- Remember to write down what you see, Pearl!
- Pearl looked at the results: The unicorn did not like the apples.

- "Where are you going?"
- Conduct the third experiment
- "Maybe unicorns like candy."
- Unicorns like to eat candy!
