- The Character is Ponyboy Curtis, Ponyboy has many Brothers, and no Parents. Ponyboy is in a gang called The Greasers. They live in a small town in Oklahoma during the Paul Newman era in the 1960's.
- Climax
- The Conflict is that Ponyboy gets jumped by some Socs on the way back from the movies. The Greasers show up and run the Socs off to save Ponyboy.
- Falling Action
- Ponyboy, Johnny, and Dally come back to the church and they see it is on fire. Ponyboy and Johnny run into the burning church to save the children in the fire. Johnny gets badly hurt from the fire.
- Resolution
- After the rumble Johnny dies. Dally is having a hard time with this. He robs a store and pulls and empty gun on the police and the police shoot and kill Dally.
- In the falling action we see that Ponyboy is at home sick in bed. He is really overwhelmed with all of the death that has happened between his family and friends.
- The judge decides to let Ponyboy and his brothers stay together! The judge also says they are innocent and says that it was self defense.
