- Woah what is that smell? it just keeps lingering off of her, Pickled walnuts? new leather? no, its more like hospital smell...
- There we are, how nice and cozy this is, isn't it?
- The landlady brings Billy his tea and the two have a seat, though Billy picks up on a peculiar smell. The smell of formaldahyde.
- I suppose Mr. Mulholland left fairly recently
- I know I've heard of them in the papers ,I'm certain they were missing. I think she may be confused, poor old girl.
- Billy presses the woman further about the boys who had previously stayed there, she arched her brows and let out an unhinged laugh claiming that the biys wer'e just upstairs. This leaves billy puzzled and concerned for the woman.
- Left? but my dear boy, he never left. He's still here. Mr. Temple is also here. Both of them...on the third floor

- The woman continues to eye Billy up and dote on him like a prized pet, She goes into detail on how flawless the last boys were, seeming almost predatory
- Mr. Temple didn't have a single blemish on his body, his skin was just as soft as a baby's.
