One vs. The world
Storyboard Beskrivning
A sixteen year old girl, who has always been a bit different from her family and society has powers she found all on her own. (Well, maybe after she helped an old magic woman who gave her the powers). Still, she has to adjust to her new position, which can lead to conflict, particularly between herself and her father, who only seems to want everything out her that she isn't. Not to mention her father has influence over almost everyone around her, save her 4 best friends who she considers brothers and sisters and also know of her 'flip side'. Faced against her father finally having enough of her comfort side and facing persecution, our little birdie will have to choose: be what's wanted and face hell, or be what her true family sees and face the music.

- Perfection. A funny concept when you think about it huh? To be absolutely right in every known way in anyone's eyes. But, I don't think its a reasonable goal, especially with what I am.
- OK. No. This is not going to work. Let's see if we can fix this.
- Much better! Well, what do you think? I know, its not fancy, but its a haven in disguise.
- And this, dear reader, is my favorite spot to visit outside of home. To fly up here and feel the wind in my hair and see the sky up above, is something I cherish.
- Hmm? Oh, sorry, you heard right, I said fly. As in without help.
- Let me see if I can explain. About 6 months ago, these powers came after I met this woman on the streets who needed shelter for the night. Turned out, she was more than met the eye.
- After I found her on a stormy night on my doorstep (Cliche I know but its true!), she begged me for shelter. Against my Dad's wishes, I happily complied.
- Later on, she told me she would place a blessing of strength on me for my kindness, and told me something I still hold close to this day...
- 'Even though I place this blessing, your strength comes form you alone. And no matter who or what may see you in a light of wrong, never forget to strive to be who you deem right.' And the rest is history. After that, she vanished, but I haven't forgotten her words. So, here we are.
- MARXASA! Get down here this instant, or I'll be late for my meeting!
- *sigh* That's my Father. I have to keep up appearances around him since he doesn't know about you know what. Plus I have school today too. Hang on a second...
- Wondering about the wardrobe change? Well, Papa has control over a lot of this city with his connections. As such, his daughter should be no less than his standards, right? But the problem is that I hate being his perfect little Marxasa. Not like I have much choice though...
- Roman Kingsley. Business mogul known by everyone in Stone Canyon City. Very, VERY controlling. Hence the yell earlier. Sometimes it feels like he wanted a son out of me instead...
- Yes Papa. I'll see you tonight.
- There you are. I'm taking the car, so you'll have to walk to school with those weird little friends of yours. Now get going, and you better be home by the time I'm back tonight.
