- The criminal pictured above is attempting to steal a box of merchandise from this store.
- The cops come to the store after the burglar trips a silent alarm and have the man arrested since he is clearly trying to steal. The officers read him his rights so they can begin collecting evidence for his trial.
- You’re under arrest, anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law
- Since burglary is a felony, the man gets a preliminary hearing so the judge can decide whether there's enough evidence or not to hold a trial.
- The prosecutor presents the charges to a grand jury and after their decision, the man is indicted for burglary.
- At arraignment, the judge reads out everything that the defendant is being charged with.

- At trial, the judge looks over all evidence to determine if he's guilty.
- The judge then issues the verdict.
- I find the defendant Steven Fine guilty!
- The judge then sentences the man to 2 years in a state penitentiary.
