- Well, this field is actually diverse, wherein there are even designated professionals who handle such a large amount of information. They are called LIS professionals.
- Really, what is the purpose of LIS anyway?
- Yes, and well, thanks to this, our past is still remembered to this day. The concept of LIS has allowed us to progress this far and will only push forward as we learn more each day.
- LIS is a concept that has multiple different roles, but, they all point back to gathering data, storing data, and disseminating data. So LIS is something similar to a housekeeping guide, but for data.
- Cool, so Ms. Librarian from awhile ago is like a sage who knows how to properly handle and utilize information to its fullest potential.
