  • From U.S.’s perspective, the Louisiana purchasewas significant because it gave U.S. access to the Mississippi river which could greatly improve trade and grow U.S.’s economy a lot. From the perspective of France, the Louisiana purchase was a great deal because they just got out of a war with Britain, they needed the money to repay their debts and to not have to be neighbors with the United States.

From the Cherokee’s perspective, the trail oftears was significant because they were being forced out of their homes and could not go back, this proved to them that the United States don’t like the natives and want to take their land and get rid of them. From the perspective of the U.S. settlers, the trail of tears was significant because they wanted the Cherokee’s land, but they would not give it up, so the trail of tears was punishment for not following U.S.’s treaties.

  • From the perspective of the 300 families settling in Texas, its significance for them is they can own very fertile landand good area for growing cash crops, and the land is ten times cheaper than land in the U.S. From Mexico’s perspective, the families coming to Texas is significant because they can populate the Texas region and then the United States will not try to take that land from them.

  • From the perspective of the U.S., the Oragon Treaty with Britain was a great deal, they didn’t have to start a war, and they couldhave peaceful relations with the Britain’s. From the Britain’s perspective, thiswas a good deal because they didn’t have to start a war and they get a lot of land.

  •  From the perspective of the native Americans, the wounded knee massacre showed how much the U.S. wanted them to leave, the U.S. didn’t want them and if they would leave, they would be killed. From the perspective of the U.S. the native Americans were trying to kill them and wanted all of the land for themselves.
