There are many development contrasts between LEDCs and MEDCs which have been around since the 1800s
I bought this on a wim
MEDCs have a greater industrial economy due to things like colonialism and abundant resources
How did we build this again?!?!?
This allows MEDCs to afford things like healthcare and Education which developes the country.
Thanks
no more bananananas?
On the contrary most LEDCs did not have the chance to build an industrial economy due to colonalism which meant their resources were being extracted and used to develope European countries
This meant that developing countries have a greater agricultural and mining industry which means they make less as they are extracting resources rather than processing them which is where most of the money is made
It ain't much but its honest work
As a result of this and other factors such as civil war and natural disasters LEDCs remain underdeveloped and trapped as they don't have the money available to invest in things like education and health care which increases their develpment and wealth
