- The Inuit tribe made igloos as their shelter because they did not have any other resource other than ice and snow to make shelter out of.
- The men of the Lakota tribe were the ones that went hunting for buffalo while the women stayed home.Usually the people of the Lakota tribe were moving, following the buffalo.
- The people of the Pueblo tribe made their houses called ¨pueblos¨ that were made of water, straw, and clay.
- The Kwakiutl tribe lived in plank houses or sometimes clan houses.These houses held many people at one time so many people lived together in a single plank house.
- The Iroquois tribe lived in the Eastern Woodlands which has very dense forests, so their shelter was made out of wood and these house were called longhouses.
