- Mary was a young woman chosen by God. An angel came to her and told her a surprise.
- Mary, you are going to have a son. Call him Jesus. He will be a special baby.
- I’m ready Joseph.
- We have all our food and supplies. Are you ready to go Mary?
- Mary and her husband Joseph set off for Bethlehem, the town where Joseph was born to be counted by King Herod.
- We don’t have a choice, Joseph
- I’m sorry, there is no room here. But you can use our stable if you’d like.
- Please give us a place to stay. My wife is about to give birth.
- There were no rooms at any inns. Mary and Joseph were offered a small stable. They had no choice but to take it. Mary was about to give birth.
