John F. Kennedy, the 35th president of the United States, was born in Brookline, Massachusetts in 1917. JFK graduated from Harvard in 1940 with honors, and the Kennedy family compound is located in Hyannis Port on Cape Cod.
The capital of Massachusetts is Boston. Other large cities include Worcester, Springfield, Lowell, Cambridge, and New Bedford.
