- Long ago in the Land of Lydia there lived and king and his lovely wife
- welcome to my palace it is a very nice and one of the best.
- Don't brag Midas
- King Midas is going to his garden to admire all of the roses.
- King Midas found somthing very strange under his roses.
- What is this under the rosebush?
- It's a satyr, Your Majesty
- You are in my garden. I shall tell your master right away!
- The King and Silenus made a bargain. Silenus will entertain him by telling storys
- I beg you not to do that. Suppose I make a bargain with you.
- KIng Midas went right back to his palace to try it out.
- Thank you for watching after Silenus. I must grnt you one wish.
- I want the power to turn everything I touch into gold.
- King went right to his garden to see if the roses would turn.
- King Midas made his whole garden gold and wished he had not.
- Where have you been dad I missed you.
- No don't come near me I don't want to hurt you.
- Kind Midas turned his own daughter into gold. Now he knew he needed to give this power up.

- Find the river Pactolus and wash yourself in its waters.
- King Midas went to Dionysus to take back his power for good.
- Dionysus I beg you to take back my power.
- King Midus got to the river he washed himself to get rid of his curse.
- When he returned his daughter ran to his arms.
