- Notable works: Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Macbeth, Sonnet 73, Twelfth Night, Julius Caesar, A Midsummer Night's Dream
- Playwright and poet during the Elizabethan era in England. Responsible for authoring roughly 38 plays and 150 sonnets.
- Shakespeare uses the 5 Act Structure in his Comedies and Tragedies, and is known for using blank verse and iambic pentameter in his sonnets.
