- The Bennets, consisting of Mr. and Mrs. Bennet and their five daughters: Jane, Elizabeth, Mary, Catherine and Lydia. They live in England at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries.

- When a neighborhood ball was organized, there was an immediate click between Mr. Bingley and Jane Bennet.Unlike Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth.

- One day, the wealthy Mr. Bingley and his friend Mr. Darcy, take up residence at the Netherfield estate. This is near Longbourn, the estate of the Bennet family.

- Darcy turned to look at Elizabeth for a moment.
- Charles Bingley
- Jane was the brightest daughter, so Mrs. Bennet tried to pair her eldest daughter with the new Mr. Bingley.

- The evening passed very happily for everybody else, and Mrs Bennet was delighted with the effect her eldest daughter had had on Mr Bingley.

- 'You to.'
- 'You look beautiful!'
- 'What do you mean?'
- 'No. She's not attractive enough to tempt me. Go back to your partner, Bingley.'
- 'He danced with Jane twice! He danced with all the other only once! And he really is so handsome!'
- 'But his friend Mr Darcy was so rude to poor Elizabeth! Luckily, she doesn't care! She wouldn't want to please him! Such a horrible, proud man! I simply hate him!'
