- Jesus Christ resurrected three days after his crucifixion. Christ is risen from the dead, and he is alive in the fullest sense of the word.
- The apostles saw that Christ's tomb was empty. This event shows that Christ's body rose from the dead, the resurrection. In this moment the apostles feared what happened because they did not expect Christ to rise again.
- Christ first appeared St. Mary Magadalene, she later told the apostles what she had seen. They did not believe at first until they physically saw him. This event spread the word of Christ's resurrection.

- In his resurrected body, Christ was able to pass though anything such as walls and locked doors. Just like before his death he was free from any form of suffering and death. This shows the true glory of Christ's body and the power of God.
