- Pearl speaks to a guy at the party who forces her to drink alcohol underage

- Unfortunately Pearl enjoys the drink and after many bottles she starts saying offensive and mean things without realising

- That outfit looks terrible on you
- Pearls addiction quickly becomes more serious as she starts skipping class to go drink with her “cool”new friends
- One day Pearl drank heavily and offended a stranger nearby and got into a fight. It ended terribly and a passer-by filmed it and posted it on social media
- What did you say???
- She ends up in hospital and the doctor informs Pearl and her dad of her sustained injuries. He also tells her she has an alcohol dependancy problem. They are both devastated by this.

- Unfortunately because employers now do social Edina checks on prospective candidates, Pearl has had many rejections for employment due to her reputation
- Over the years Pearl realises that her addiction has cost her a lot of opportunities which she has thrown away so far. Thankfully she has the option to get help and support to overcome her addiction and becom a fully functioning member of society.
