- Hello! I am Haley Himes and I am an aspiring first grade teacher! As you can see, there is no technology in sight. I feel children are on devices far too often, I want them exploring away from a screen at school. School tech is a wreck!

- When children walk off the bus, they should be showing off their new backpacks and talking with their friends about what cool notebookstheir mom bought them for the year. Not worrying about computers or Ipads.
- I love seeing the kids interact with their friends face to face. It really builds the interpersonal skills.

- Not to mention, technology is confusing and distracting. You look one time and a child needs help because they clicked an ad for shoes and you don't know where it came from. You check on another and they're playing a racing game! And you hear a third yel, "Ms. Himes! My computer went black!" and you have no clue how to fix that so you have to disturb the media specialist or IT specialist. It is such a hassle. School tech is a wreck!
