- Hey did you know that I recently created my own video game.
- Really?
- Yeah! I made an algorithm and compiled it into my computer's hardware.
- Um? That is not how hardware works.
- You can't put code onto hardware.
- What do you mean?
- Hardware is the physical components used to make a computer. Software is the programs that make the computer run.
- You can only put code onto software because without it the computer wouldn't run properly.
- But I thought that computers were completely made out of software.
- Well you are wrong buddy.
