- I'm unlike any hunger you've ever felt before..
- Every night since father left has been strange... I'm always hungry for something, but it's not bread.
- The following afternoon, I decided to ask mother for food
- I'm hungry mom!!
- I hate dad! He's the reason I'm hungry!

- Days have passed and mother was finally able to get a job. She comes home exhausted everyday. Father is still not home, and I hate him. I blame him for everything.
- Mother showed me the way to the corner store last night, and I was very excited. I went the next afternoon, but little did I know, something horrendous was about to happen..
