- Hello it's your classmate Zarrin! In this last couple months in Anthro I was able to learn a variety of new topics, and learning more in dept about topics I knew little about. My favorite chapter was on Play, Art, Myths, and Religion. Specifically the lesson of witchcraft among the Azande, which I have never heard of before.
- I think something that i learned from this class that will follow me into the future is learning about the 4 sections of Anthropology. Prior to this class I honestly did not know some of those subjects, like arecology full under anthropology. I do think with this knowledge I will be better aware in the future when the topic may arise.
- 5 years from now I hope to use the knowledge i learned in this class to keep me grounded and remind me that society is all connected. I learned a lot here but what i really took away is how even though society, cultures, religion, and race affect all people differently, we are still connected on a deeper level, and should learn to respect the differences in everyone.
