- Good day to you I'm James clerk Maxwell and I am a Scottish scientist in the field of mathematical physics. my most significant achievement was the Theory of Light Propagation.
- which I presented in 1864 with the publication of "A Dynamical Theory of the Electromagnetic field" where I hypothesized that an electric field , a magnetic field and light could all be explained using a single theory.

- I also discovered the photoelectric effect, providing one of the first clues to the existence of the quantum world . the unit of frequency the hertz, is named in my honor. Cool right?
