- As a Program Officer, I was providing drought response in 2005 and suddenly an Earthquake emerged and an emergency was announced in Northern part of the country. So I was deployed for Earthquake response for 4 months which totally changed my vision of work and life. And same situation happened in 2007 and 2010, when I was deployed for Flood Response in Northern Sindh.
- After responding to these disasters, I got a scholarship in Bangladesh with International Center for Climate Change and Development which made me understand the relation between Climate change and Disasters in context of South Asia where most population is uneducated and underdeveloped.
- In 2015, I got opportunity to work with HANDICAP International as Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction Adviser and I fully understood the Inclusive approach. after that I decided to go back in Tharparkar and work for Drought affected communities.
- During last 5 years(2017 to 2022) I tried my best to get funding opportunities for drought affected communities and I succeeded for this. At this moment more than 5 projects have been executed on Drought mitigation in Tharparkar. And now I'm focusing on Sustainable Development goals to able communities climate resilient.
