- Pushing an empty shopping cart is easier than pushing a loaded shopping cart right?
- Wait, is this the law of acceleration? The one with the force and mass?
- Since mass has an inverse relationship with acceleration, the loaded cart tends to move at a slower pace than the empty cart. Wow! I now understand the second law
- This is because of the relation between the mass of the object, the force applied to it, and the acceleration produced.

- Exactly! Our body exerts a force with its weight on the chair and it responds with an identical but in the opposite direction, keeping us at rest.

- You got it right! We exert a force on the chair and the chair exerts an equal and opposite reaction on us.
