- 1 Samuel 16: 13 'So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and from that day on the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon David.'
- King David wins the defeats the king of Zobah
- 1 Samuel 17:49 'Reaching into his bag and taking out a stone, he slung it and struck the Philistine on the forehead. The stone sank into his forehead, and he fell facedown on the ground.'
- David confesses his sins and asks for forgivness

- David writes the book of psalms and they reflect his life thoughout the whole book. He started writting the psalms when he was 30 and died after writting psalm 71 or 72
