- Hodaka moves to Tokyo to get away from his home. He wanders the streets, looking for a place to work. tokyo has been cloudy for the last month.

- He gets a job at a small article buisness, where he gets to live in exchange for very small pay and alot of work. his boss suggests to write about the "sunshine girl", which is rumored to be able to control the weather.
- "The fabled "100 percent sunshine girl." According to the internet anyway.
- After some searching, Hodaka ran into the girl (Hina), and she showed him her power. she prayed to the sky, and it cleared up.
- After Hodaka meets Hina, he goes to her house and has an idea. he says that she should clear skies for the people in Tokyo in exchange for money. Anyone could ask for a clear sky on their website and they would answer their requests.
- This was a blueprint for my idea: the "Sunshine Girl Business.
- When Hina was clearing the sky for the people of Tokyo, she started to become one with the sky the more she used her power. Not telling Hodaka this, she suddenly evaporates into the air.
- In a desperate attempt, Hodaka goes to the building where the sun shines brightest. He goes through the shrine gate hoping to reach Hina. Will or won"t he?
