Storyboard Text

  • These students go to a school and they hav PE next period. They are talking about how they do not want to do PE, and they should just skip it.
  • These two students do have evidence PE decreases attendance, and they don't quite understand why they have to do it. A study that they read stated "PE can be a source of distress which leads to them skipping lessons, or missing out on school altogether.
  • I think that we should talk to the principal and let them know what could be leading to attendance decreasing since thats an issue in our school.
  • This is an example of people that are thinking about skipping school or even class because they don't want to do PE. Another study shows peoples mental health is affected when knowing they have to do PE because they dread it. They don't want to have to do it which leads to stressing them out and making teens mental health bad.
  • I have PE next and I don't know what to do, I don't want to do it and I can't skip it or else I will get in trouble. 
  • Teen girls especially do not enjoy PE and dread having to do it because they have to change and they dont like changing. This has increased behavior changes and this has caused a lot of poor and negative effects due to the fact that teens simply do not enjoy doing PE.
  • Another reason kids especially girls don't like doing PE is because they make us change and not a lot of people like changing and it makes them uncomfortable.
  • Here's an example of what girls do and what they potentially do and what boys do. Boys do not seem to be affected as much as girls but girls do not like doing PE which has caused behavioral issues and they need to figure out why.
  • The principal as well has noticed the changes in attendance and behavior mainly and is ready to make a change. This is affecting multiple people and elements at their school such as, leadership, behavior, attendance, grades and more. All of these elements within this school are affected by this one class.
