- Man vs NatureAt first Cole was burning his cabin down, as the spirit bear was watching him. Cole left that area and was attacked by the Spirit Bear and was hurt very badly, almost dead. He survived the storm the came after the bear attack and struggled to survive. He struggled to find food and shelter to keep him safe and warm during the storm. His battle with nature was almost fatal to him, as Garvey had warned him when he first arrived on the island.
