- On January 21, 1793, King Louis XVI is executed. After being caught trying to escape France, he was captured and put on trial. Unfortunately for him he was found guilty of treason, and executed by guillotine.
- November 9-10 1799Coup of 18-19 Brumaire

- Lets get a plan together to overthrow the government.
- The Reign of Terror which took place from September 1793-July 1794 was just what it sounded like. Led by Maximillien Robespierre, if you were as much as caught for talking bad about the revolution or anything that was looked down upon you could be executed for being labeled as a threat.
- The Thermidorian Reaction took place July 27, 1794. With everything going on in France at that time there were people that began to plot to get rid of Maximilien Robespierre. He was eventually shut down by members of the Committee of Public Safety. He was arrested and beheaded the following day.
- November 9-10 1799, the Coup of Brumaire took place. The government was overthrown in France, which marked the end of the French Revolution. It also gave Napoleon an opportunity to come into power.
