- Adeline shows Aunt BaBa a certificate she got for good leadership.
- Adeline was brought home to heart breaking news.
- Adeline explains to her class why they should vote her as a batch president.
- Adeline comes back from school and shows Aunt BaBa a certificate she got for her good leadership .Aunt BaBa congratulated her and told Adeline to give it to her. Adeline gave it to her aunt then Aunt BaBa put it in a safe place where she puts her jewelry. Adeline felt happy and felt that aunt BaBa loves her very much and makes sure that her accomplishments will be kept safe.
- One of the nuns in Adeline’s boarding school delivered great news to her.
- The family's chauffeur drove Adeline to their house from school as her father ordered. Adeline was confused why she was told to come back to the house. Once they were in the house, Adeline was told about YeYe's death. Adeline was heartbroken but remembered her YeYe's words. Adeline knew that she had to be brave so she gave her final hug and goodbye.
- Adeline’s father lets her study in London.
- Adeline stood on top of her table and explained in a loud confident voice on why they should vote her as batch president.Wu Chun Mei and her classmates were confused about what happened but cheered for Adeline. Fortunately, Adeline won as batch president.
- Wu Chun Mei and Adeline’s other classmates came to celebrate.
- Adeline was eating in the School’s canteen but was called by one of the nuns. The nun then showed Adeline the results of the Writing competition. When Adeline saw that she had won she had a big smile on her face.
- Adeline was picked up by the Family’s chauffeur as ordered by Adeline’s father. Adeline was curious why she was being brought back to the house. Adeline asked the chauffeur “Who died now?”. The chauffeur chuckled and said noone has died. Adeline was called up to go to her Father’s room. Adeline’s father told her that a girl from their town won a writing competition. Adeline was hesitant but explained to her father that she was the girl that won. Adeline took this opportunity to ask her father if she may study in London like her brothers. He allowed her to study there to become a doctor which was against Adeline’s wish to study as a writer in London but was still thankful for the opportunity.
- Adeline’s best friend, Wu Chun Mei and her other classmates came to her house to celebrate Adeline’s victory as batch president. They were very loud so it caught the attention of Adeline’s father and Niang and ordered her friends to leave.
