After they had left the island of the Ciconians and got brutally attacked by the neighboring village they were back on the see going home. One of the men pointed out an island. They turned the ship and turned around to park in a little spot.
LETS GO ALREADY!
As Odysseus's men wonder off on the island Odysseus tries to track them down. The ship got parked in the distance so there was no turning back now. Odysseus needed his men so he followed them.
Are you guys done!
Were sorry.
Odysseus stumbles across his men eating lotus and the people there called themselves the lotus eaters. Odysseus's men ate the lotus and they sat there relaxed and acted like they were having a great time. Odysseus drug them off the island.
Odysseus's men were whining and complaining about not being able to eat lotus. Odysseus got fed up with them and kept dragging them toward the ship. Odysseus then tied his men up on the ship and left them there till they stopped.
They set back on the sea and it took his men a little to calm down and go back to normal. Odysseus asked if they were done crying and whining and his men apologized a bunch. They were back on trail to go back home to Ithica!
