In this scene, the jurors take their first vote. 11/12 jurors vote guilty except the 8th Juror votes not guilty because he wants to talk about the case before sending the boy off to die. Each juror gets their chance to speak. Some of the jurors are shown to have a bias against the boy.

In this scene, the jurors take their second vote. Number nine changes his vote to non-guilty because he wants to continue. They all believe that number five changed his vote until number nine admits it was him and they are all bewildered.

Almost finishing Act ll, the jury comes to a unanimous vote. Juror 3 was the most stubborn because of his experiences with his son. Juror 8 finally got to him by telling him it wasn't his boy.

Ending
In the final scene, the jurors are shown putting their coats on and exiting the building. Juror 8 decided to help out Juror 3. Juror 8 also notices his surroundings and how the rain finally stopped.
