- Gerald gives sally water
- I'm parched
- Ok I am a unicorn so I will make this sink appear so you can quench your thirst.
- Sally grows older and makes a shocking discovery
- OMG GERALD I JUST FOUND OUT THAT THERES PFAS IN OUR WATER THAT IVE BEEN DRINKING SINCE I WAS JUST A LASS
- Oh Gerald... lets go on an adventure
- Silly Sally, what in the world is PFAS and what is it doing in our water
- Sally explains PFAS while flying 40,000 feet in the air
- PFAS are a chemicals that are used for things that have to be water, heat, or stain resistant.
- Although they are really good at doing that job, once they get into drinking water they are very bad for human and animal consumption.
- How do they get into the water in the first place?
- Sally is still flying with Gerald and explaining where PFAS comes from
- OMG MY OWN UNICORN! I'LL NAME YOU GERALD.
- It can be released industrially to the air, bodies of water, or soil.
- It can also become present through discharge from sewage plants.
- Well Gerald, PFAS can get into water in a variety of different ways
- What are some of the effects of being exposed to PFAS?
- Sally and Gerald land and Gerald learns her lesson
- And over 97% of americans have levels of PFAS detectable in their blood.
- PFAS can be extremley harmful when someone is exposed to it for a long time
- Wow that sounds nasty. I'm so glad I learned about it so i will never poison a child again!
