- Hamlet didn't want to talk, but he was still polite.
- Ophelia, you need to talk to Hamlet and get to the bottom of this.
- Rosencrantz and Guildenstern (left) report to the King and Queen (center). They tell him that Hamlet acting strange and they don't know why. The king decides Ophelia should confront him. The King and Polonius plan to hide and watch the confrontation.
- I wonder why Hamlet is acting so strange. Maybe it's his love for Ophelia?
- I will my lord
- Ophelia tries to return gifts to Hamlet , but he denies he ever gave them. Hamlet starts to get suspicious and tells her she needs to repent. They both feel hurt and betrayed. The King and Polonius are hiding and listening in. Hamlet then leaves
- To live or to not live is the question.
- I never gave you any gifts. I never loved you.
- You seep betrayal. Get to a covenant and preserve yourself.
- What betrayal this is!
- Hello Hamlet, I've come to return your gifts.
- I think love is driving him mad!
- The King, Polonius, and Ophelia discuss what Hamlet said. Polonius tells the King he shouldn't speak with the Queen on these matters yet. The King decides to send Hamlet to England.
- We need to keep an eye on him, we must take action
- He's not like himself. I don't know what's wrong!
