- It's important to know who is Allah and why It's important to pray.
- Once Samad and his dad entered the mosque they saw the lecture already started so they quickly took a seat. The sheikh was explaining stuff about salaat.
- Salaat is one of the pilars of Islam, meaning if one doesn't pray Salaat, it becomes a sin. Just know, if you do pray, you will be rewarded in the afterlife. When you pray Allah protects you from Shaytan and all other evil.
- Come let's sit. The lecture already started.
- In Surah Al-Baqarah verse 277, it tells us, those who obey, pray salaat and do zakat, will receive their reward from their lord. Also when you pray, Allah answers all your dua's.
- The sheikh continued to explain more about salaat and how we will be rewarded by Allah for praying. The more the sheikh would talk, the more Samad got interested in salaat, and then he started loving salaat.
- After a few hours Samad's dad came in his room. Samad's dad got upset hearing that Samad didn't pray Duhr and Asr yet.
- When you really understand the importance of salaat, you will never find it boring and always pray on time.
- Few hours later...
- When the lecture finished, everyone started talking and meeting with their friends. Samad felt really bad about what he said in the car before, so he talked to his dad and apologized. His dad was happy to know that Samad realized just how important salaat is.
- Hey, I'm so sorry for being disrespectful in the car. I learnt so much today and realized how important salaat is. And I'm always going to pray on time!
- No, it's okay. I'm glad that you realized how important salaat really is.
