- We've all seen what has been going on with Germany so it would be a good idea to work together

- In 1879 Austria-Hungry and Germany decided that they should work together
- Tension between the European nations grew so Germany and Austria-Hungry wanted to work with Itily in order to create the secret alliance called Triple Alliance in 1882

- Other countries in Europe were starting to get afraid of Germany's aggression. So Great Britain, Russia, and France decided to make the alliance called the triple entente

- Gavrilo Princip assassinates Archduke Franz Ferdinand which leads to Austria-Hungry declaring war on Serbia

- Russia decides to help out Serbia by declaring war on Austria-Hungry which in turn brings upon the rest of the triple entente

- Now almost the entirety of Europe have declared war, one side being the Central Powers which includes the Triple Alliance, and the Allied powers which have the triple entente
