- Dude, what happened to you?
- I don't know, I think it is the air that makes me sick.
- Yes, it is really contaminated and full of CO2 emissions
- What are CO2 emissions?
- Hmm, yeah.. I can feel it
- CO2 emissions are those which are produced by the burning of fossil fuels, specially for the manufacture of cement
- Oh no! It is raining!
- Yes, it is acid rain, very common here, substances like sulfuric acid and nitrogen oxides go up to the atmosphere and mix with humidity. This mixture creates acid rain.
- Don't tell me that there are more problems
- Indeed there are more, for example, most of the water bodies here have made a process called Eutrophication, and now, they are dead ecosystems because of the excess runoff of nutrients that caused algae and bacteria to arrive to them.
- But, then why do you live here? I don't even see a tree, and why is this city like this?
- Well, because here is where I've lived always, no matter the unconsciousness of the people of Hillwood, but lately I've been thinking that I should runaway to the nearby city: Shermer
