Storyboard Text
- Rainsford falls of the boat and swims to an island nearby.
- Rainsford sees a chateau and meets General Zaroff
- Mirage
- General Zaroff tells Rainsford about his game.
- But you can't mean-
- And why not?
- It was pitch dark outside and Rainsford could not see, so he accident fell off the boat out into the ocean. He swims hoping to find somewhere safe.
- Rainsford is hunted by General Zaroff
- He swims to an island and sees a chateau. He thought at first it was a "mirage." He knocks on the door and General Zaroff is standing at the door with his revolver pointed at Rainsford's heart. He tells him to not be alarmed.
- Rainsford hides in a tree and escapes the Malay man catcher
- Why had the general smiled?
- General Zaroff explains that he knows Rainsford because of his book with hunting. He then explains that he has a game, which involves hunting humans. Rainsford is in shock thinking that what he is doing is murder.
- Rainsford hides in Zaroff's home.
- Rainsford! How in God's name did you get in here!
- Rainsford begins and take different paths to try and confuse General Zaroff and his hounds.
- Rainsford hides in a tree and escapes the Malay Man Catcher. General catches up to him and Rainsford was terrified what was going to happen. General smiles and turns around. Rainsford knows he is saving him for another days sport.
- I'm going to save him for another day's sport
- Rainsford survives and swims back to the island. He hides in the generals room. The general is shocked he survived, but Rainsford kills him.
