- The church is becoming corrupt and indulgences are wrong. We need to go back to the old ways of the church and follow the bible.

- Luther says his opinion on the church. He wanted to rid the church of corruption.
- Diet of worms
- You shall be convicted of heresy.
- The church made people pay so they and there ancestors would not go to hell. Peasants would pay there life savings not to go to hell.

- Now more people can read the bible!
- Martin Luther hung up the 95 these and was persecuted for it. It stated all that was wrong with the church.
- Peasant Revolts
- Luther was convicted of heres. This was done at the diet of worms because of his 95 these.
- I will not be shunned for my beliefs.
- Luther followers hid luther. During this time he re-wrote the bible in german so people who spoke german could read the bible.
- After reading the bible the peasants revolted. They where mad at what the church had become.
