- On August 14. 1814 the British Forces marhed into Washington DC and set fire to many other key government buildings including the white house and the Capitol, Goverment Official , along with president James Maddison had to evacuate the city.
- EVERYONE EVACUATE!!!!

- This battle started on Sep. 13, 1814 at the US ft. Mchenry near baltimore. The American fort that guarded Baltimore harbor, was bombarded for 27 hours straight. The attack failed, and on the morning of September 14th, the Us flag still flew above Fort McHenry. ( This inspired the Star Spangeled Banner)

- On January 8, 1815, the British army invaded the city of New Orleans. Andrew Jackson assembled a last minute militia that included Native Americans, Pirates, freed African Americans, and ordinary citizens to defend the city. Jackson won the battle a became a war hero.
