- The tavern keeper then vouched the servant's statement; he explained that the boy speaks truth, and that this year 'Death' has slain men, women and children alike in avillage over a mile from the tavern. The tavern keeper warned them not to go, but the 3 rioters shrugged it off and confidently made haste to the said village at once, with a mission to kill 'Death'.
- Fullhouse Tavern
- The 3 rioters, halfway to the village, then stumbled across an old wanderer in the forest. Despite the old wanderer observing a polite demeanor, the 3 rioters were being discourteous and mean for no reason. Therefore, theold wanderer gave them what they wanted and told them that 'Death' was up a crooked path in the forest under an oak tree.
- The three rioters then ran until they found the oak tree, and there they found a hoard of treasure. From then on, they looked for 'Death' no longer and wished to celebrate before retrieving it back to their homes.They played straws and appointed one of their own to collect bread and wine for their commemoration, while the other two guard the hoard of coin.
