- The birth of Moses started gods plan to free his people from being slaves in Egypt. There was many Hebrew people in egypt, that pharaoh feared them.
- Pharaoh made a rule, and this was that all newborns had to be killed, so they wouldn’t grow up and become soldiers. The midwives disagreed and hid Moses for 3 months.
- When the wife couldn’t hide Moses for much longer, she placed him in a basket and let him go down the river. Lucky enough, Pharaoh’s daughter was there. She knew he was one of the Hebrew children, and she adopted him straight away. When Moses grew up, he became mad seeing his own people suffer from the Egyptians. Moses became so mad at seeing them suffer, that his Pharaoh’s daughter seemed to have him killed.
- The mother hid the baby for 3 months to keep him safe,
- When Moses was born, it marked the 400th year of Egyptian slavery. Hebrew people had so many in Egypt, that Pharaoah was scared
- You need to kill him! He can’t grow up to be a soldier!
