  • You can never stop us!!
  • The Vietnam war started on November 1st, 1955. The united states joined the war on March 8th, 1965. The United States wanted to stop the spread of communism.
  • We need to stop the spread of communism.
  • The Soviet Union has been very vulnerable to attacks from the southwest area of their country. So they needed a barrier so they built The Iron Curtain to seal itself and its dependent eastern and central European allies from open contact with the West and other noncommunist areas.
  • North Korea invaded South Korea trying to make one Korea. The United States took over South Korea and a Communist government soon took charge of North Korea.
  • Move out men!
  • Gorbachev's decision to allow elections with a multi-party system and create a presidency for the Soviet Union began a slow process of democratization that eventually destabilized Communist control and contributed to the collapse of the Soviet Union.
  • The Soviet Union has collapsed and the Cold War is finally over!
  • Berlin had put up a wall to separate the east and west. Citizens demanded and protested for the soldiers to open the gate and they fled through the Iron Curtain
  • Let's tear this wall down!
  • The Soviet Union had set off an atomic bomb and the U.S. no longer had a monpoly over atomic weponary. Truman orderd the atomic energy commision to develop a hydrogen bomb.
